MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. — The 2014 Robotics Alley Conference & Expo has selected a new location for its fourth annual conference, the newly renovated Minneapolis Marriott Northwest Hotel and Conference Center. The venue recently underwent a yearlong, $24 million transformation that earned it a Renovation Excellence Award from Marriott International earlier this year, making it the perfect complement to an event that has grown into one of the top robotics conferences in the country.
The venue was selected because of its ability to accommodate a number of new additions to Robotics Alley this year, which include more than 40 educational sessions presented by top robotics experts, a Career Fair, tours of local businesses, an expanded STEM Showcase and more. It also features free parking, all-suite accommodations and a host of other amen-ties for this year's attendees.
"In the four years since Robotics Alley started, this industry and this conference have been on a major growth trajectory," said Minnesota Secretary of State Mark Ritchie, chair of this year's Agricultural Track. "There's so much happening in robotics right now, the event will have five or more sessions happening simultaneously just to scratch the surface. I'm pleased the conference found a venue that can handle that growth while still providing a comfortable space for the networking that is at the heart of an event like this. Minnesota and this region are doing some amazing things with robotics, and I look forward to celebrating that innovation this fall."
This year's event takes place Sept. 16-17, with tours of local businesses available on the 18th. To reserve your room now, click here or call 763-536-8300. For a group rate of $139 per night, reference Robotics Alley or, if making a reservation online, use the code: Robotics Alley.
